Drupal can be difficult to learn without good resources or a helping hand. Here are a list of great resources that I have found useful while learning Drupal, including blogs and video tutorials. I hope you find them useful.

If you are a complete beginner, I recommend starting with this video Absolute Beginners Guide to Drupal.

Last week I ran a course on Google Analytics for a range of participants from the social enterprise and charity sector. Attendees came from The Children's Society, Fair Finance, School of Hip Hop in addition to a journalist, freelancers and people from SMEs.

I ran the course in partnership with our client Poached Creative, who we have worked on a handful of web development projects with over the past year. This was the first of a series of monthly #commsknowhow seminars they are running to build networks and share knowledge. The course was run at Bootstrap Company, next to Poached offices in Dalston.

We are very excited to hear that the next European DrupalCon will be in Ireland. DrupalCon Dublin will take place 26-30th Sep 2016. The announcement was made at the closing of yesterday's DrupalCon Barcelona in front of an audience of over 2000 Drupal enthusiasts from around the world.

We are very pleased to see that the website is not just a landing page like many others, but already has useful content including which hotels we get discount at and how to sponsor. No doubt the volunteers must have worked very hard to get it all ready in time.

We have organised the next meetup for Drupal West London on Thursday 8th October at The Hop Poles in Hammersmith.

The meetup has been running since August 2014 and usually alternates between Hammersmith and Richmond, with the occasional Curry Night in Hounslow from time to time.

Last week I attended Drupalaton, a Drupal camp in Hungary for the second year in a row. It was so valuable to us last year I couldn’t resist returning, especially after all the great friends I made and met again there.
